Lara Fabian

Performing since the age of 14, Belgian born singer/songwriter Lara Fabian is yet another major music star in the Francophone world. With a successful career in both Canada and France, multi-lingual Lara Fabian has also recorded two albums in English - 'Lara Fabian' & 'A wonderful life'

Perhaps inevitably, comparisions have been drawn with another Francophone star - Celine Dion, but take away the 'full on' English language power ballads and Lara Fabian's voice remains in a class all of its own. Unique in its clarity, beauty and versatility, the best examples of which can be heard on the 2003 album 'En Toute Intimite' [Live]

To date, Lara Fabian has released nine albums and recorded songs for several Hollywood film soundtracks, yet worldwide recognition eludes her. Hopefully there is still time.
